Mrs. Upton, has been teaching Physical Education at CLMS for 15+ years. She loves her family and is very active. She has been married for 16 years to Mr. Upton who works at Temecula Valley Hospital. She has twin sons age 10, Noah & Ezekiel. Mrs. Upton graduated from San Diego State in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology, and has a Masters Degree from California Baptist University. She played collegiate soccer at SDSU on scholarship. Mrs. Upton is also a certified cross fit instructor for Uncensored Gym. She is inspired and encouraged to shape and mold the youth of today to a healthier future!
Mrs. Gilliland has been teaching for 12 years, she was born in San Diego, and raised in Murrieta, CA. Mrs. "G" attended California Baptist University and received a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education. Mrs. Gilliland ran collegiate cross country at CBU. She has been married to Mr. Gilliland since June of 2003, a history teacher at Temescal Canyon High School. Their son Kellen was born in December of 2008 and their daughter was born March 17, 2016. Mrs. G loves to exercise! Including: running, lifting weights, and road biking. She enjoys running in 1/2 marathons, Ragnar Races and sprint triathlons. Mrs. Gilliland has been at CLMS since April of 2013. She believes in life long learning and fitness. Mrs. Gilliland is pumped for the 2020-2021 school year! Go Cougars!
Mr. McEvilly, known by most around campus as Mr. Mac, has been teaching secondary school for 16+ years, teaching in Lake Elsinore for 10 years and teaching PE at CLMS since August of 2013. He has coached many different sports including tennis, softball, and most recently coached varsity football at Lakeside High School. He lives in Lake Elsinore with his wife, Katie, and three children- Taylor age 17, Connor age 15, and Allie age 11. Our PE department at CLMS is looking forward to a very fun and fit year!!!
Mr. Golden has been teaching for 23 years. He is from Northern California and lived in the Lake Shasta area for most of his life. While working for the LEUSD Ron as served as a math teacher at David Brown Middle School , and as an assistant principal and the Athletic Director at Temescal Canyon High School. Mr. Golden is the newest member of the CLMS Physical Education Team. He loves animals, especially his dogs, the outdoors and sports. Ron is a graduate of CSU, Chico with a BA in Physical Education and a Masters in Physical Education. In his free time he still loves to play basketball and he still loves to learn new things. For many years to come, he is excited to be a teacher at CLMS!
